Job Summary:

Lia Diagnostics, a funded startup in Philadelphia, is looking for a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator join our team.

The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator performs a wide variety of duties including the support of the Marketing team. This position requires an independent worked who is a self-starter, willing to roll up his/her sleeves and is able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.  The individual must be able to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail. The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for several key initiatives that will inform the launch and go-to-market strategies of our new products.

Responsibilities:
  • Social Media Marketing – Assisting with the daily posting of company content and engaging followers on all platforms. Keeping abreast of competitive trends and activity as it relates to social media marketing. Assisting in the creation of content for all social media platforms.

  • Social Media Utilization – Developing and executing on social media posting strategies to maximize company exposure and community engagement.
  • Communications/PR - Supporting communications from marketing team when possible to create a seamless flow communications. Assisting in creating email marketing newsletters for the company. Assisting in keeping email distribution lists properly segmented and up-to-date for designated markets based on guidelines provided by the marketing team.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of social media marketing or public relations experience preferred

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interface with internal and external customers at all levels
  • Strategic understanding of the business process and ability to create reports and give presentations
  • Ability to methodically break down a project into logical steps, determine key milestones and deliverables, and drive toward deadlines in an organized and thorough manner
  • In depth knowledge of all social media platforms and how to use them
  • Knowledge of social media “best practices” and how they apply when marketing a product and small business
  • Working knowledge of Hootsuite, Iconosquare, Google Analytics, and more
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Creative Suite preferred
